What does a Physical Therapist do? The Physical Therapist screens, evaluates, and recommends physical therapy treatments. The Physical Therapist provides therapy services on their caseload. Travel to other sites as needed is required. The physical therapist provides oversight to the physical therapist assistants and the respective caseload that is assigned to them . Qualifications: Must be licensed and currently registered as a Physical Therapist by the New York State Department of Education. Experience in working with people with disabilities preferred.
