SCHEDULE : 4 hours a day M-F PAY FREQUENCY: Weekly PAY RATE: $17.00/hour SUMMARY The Part-time Recruiting Specialist will partner with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to execute our talent acquisition strategy to ensure that we are staffed with the right people and the right roles across our production, distribution, and corporate functions by supporting the end-to-end candidate journey and experience: sourcing, screening and selection, offer, conversion and hire. This is accomplished through the implementation, coordination, administration, and development of recruitment initiatives, and through candidate outreach, candidate engagement, and employer branding campaigns. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma 1-2 years recruiting experience, with demonstrated success recruiting for a wide variety of manufacturing and warehouse roles Experience with online recruitment tools including online job boards and web-based ATS is required Experience sourcing candidates through various techniques including Indeed, LinkedIn, Social Media Campaigns, Internal Database Mining, etc. POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES High energy, collaborative, outgoing, organized and efficient, self-starter with tons of initiative required Passion for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Knowledge of HR recruitment practices including interviewing best practices, compensation, employment law and sourcing strategies required Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook Ability to manage multiple requisitions while demonstrating a sound sense of urgency Ability to adapt to changing circumstances Ability to take initiative in providing new ideas to improve process efficiencies Ability to maintain consistent attendance, arriving on time and prepared for all shifts, meetings, and appointments ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES, EXPECTATIONS, AND BEHAVIORS include, but are not limited to, the following: Work closely with the Hiring Managers to understand requirements of open roles and create an effective recruitment strategy. Manage the full life cycle process including: sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, evaluation and offer negotiation, and on-boarding, etc. Execute sourcing strategies focused on generating candidate flow to meet recruiting goals and metrics. Identify innovative and proactive recruitment strategies to produce high-quality passive and active candidates for pipelines. Evaluate criminal background checks results and ensure hiring decisions meet established guidelines. Responsible for scheduling and coordinating interviews for hourly and salaried positions. Partner with the training department to schedule orientation for new hires and process on-boarding through HRIS. Ensure a positive candidate experience through effective communication, an efficient interview process and timely interview feedback. Track key measures of success and provide regular reporting and analysis of recruiting effort Ad-hoc projects as assigned. In office attendance is an essential function of this position. WORKING CONDITIONS The essential functions of this job require the employee to perform the following physical activities: Regular use of PC, laptop, copier, fax, and other general office equipment. Ability to access all areas of the facility to perform essentials functions of the position. Noise level for this environment is low to moderate.
