Position Summary : Be the focal for customer support to the MRO Customers in North America. Primary Responsibilities : Providing the primary interface between Customer Services and MRO customers for all in service issues ensuring the highest level of safety, reliability, customer satisfaction and business development Establishing and maintaining direct contact with customers, monitoring, control and co-ordination of the implementation of all signed Customer Service Agreements, identifying Service opportunities and ensuring that all required actions are completed as scheduled Evaluating MRO customer operational performance and determining appropriate Customer Services response, establishing a comprehensive summary to management on a regular basis or on specific request Coordinating with Procurement and other business units the specific relationship with MROs being customer, supplier and potential partner for Airbus Evaluating customer needs and promoting new services and /or new initiatives developed in Customer Services that benefit customers and contributes to Customer Services order intake, and acquiring business for all Customer Services products and services and committing to catalogue products and services sales target Assisting the different Customer Service Business Units, Strategy and Procurement by providing, discussing and following-up Customer Services items as required, Aligning on strategy for any relevant in-service topics and potential MRO partnerships including the industrial set-up of MRO management. Additional Responsibilities: Represent the assigned region covering MRO concerns (including its capabilities, operation, ratings, airline customers, strategy etc.) Focal Point for assigned region for MRO queries Provide guidance for CSD with MRO accounts in the region Support Activities of MRO AMA Members Manage the overall customer relationship with several customers of different size, culture, structure, & organization, at all levels in the customer organization. Ensure Project Management of customer requirements with a consistent approach in a complex environment with many interfaces (other directorates, partners), with continual need to re-establish priorities, often at short notice, generally without hierarchical authority. Establish the necessary contractual frame work to allow a business relationship with the MRO. Identify prospects to acquire business for all Customer Services products and services, and give guidance on the approach to be used in the SELL process using knowledge of the customer specificities. Be active member or leader of Multi-Functional Teams (including Services, Procurement, Strategy and other business units) in regards to MRO customer and supplier relationship. Be proactive contributor to develop the industrial set-up to manage MRO partnerships. Proactively detect potential issues before they create dissatisfaction to the customer and implement appropriate action plans and mitigation plans. Achieve a compromise between customer expectations and technical/ training /financial limits by maintaining customer satisfaction and Airbus best interest. Exercise commercial control and ensure that: Expenditures are within commercial commitments Commercial gestures are under control and minimized Overdue payments are made Close follow-up of contractual commitments is kept Qualified Experience / Skills / Training : 15+ years of technical aviation experience with emphasis on the America's maintenance operations and capabilities. Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as experience with internal and external clients. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to lead and work with multidisciplinary teams in various locations. Supervisor/management experience and progressive training and development. Strong working knowledge of Airbus Customer Services operating business practices, agreements and other contracts. Demonstrated ability to work with multiple teams and establish, maintain and improve business relationships. Education / Special Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree preferably in Engineering or Business. Unique Position Details: Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Products Ability to prepare and present issue resolution to internal and external customers Highly motivated to provide highest level of Customer Service by efficiently utilizing available resources. Excellent coordination and people skills to deal with customers and industry partners. Autonomous, ability to take initiative. Adaptability, flexibility and perseverance.
