Job Duties: Plan, manage and execute data product roadmaps. Guide teams on large projects, plan, and delegate work to maximize impact, and guide projects to success in collaboration with stakeholders including Engineers, Product Managers, and Business leaders to define strategy and deliver value to the company and learners. Guide the team to build technology that understands and optimizes educational content and leverages heterogeneous datasets of expert answers, study guides, flashcards, essays, and citations. Develop machine learning solutions across various fields including Recommendations, Natural Language Processing, and Search. Distill informal business requirements into problem definitions, dealing with ambiguity and competing objectives. Define and identify success. Identify key evaluation metrics and release requirements for data products. Keep up with the current state of the art in the fields of personalized recommendations, deep learning, and AI. Design annotation and evaluation tasks for data science products, crowdsourcing. Telecommuting permitted. Salary: $200,000 to $230,000. Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a data scientist-related position. Special Skill Requirements: at least one (1) year of experience in each of the following skills: 1. NLP (Natural Language Processing); 2. Deep Learning; 3. Machine Learning; 4. Python; 5. PyTorch; 6. TensorFlow; 7. AWS; 8. LLM (Large Language Models); 9. Machine learning System Design; 10. MLOps; and 11. SQL. Telecommuting permitted.
