The Director of Admissions functions as the key person responsible for new student enrollment, overseeing the entire Admissions Inside and Outside Representative force. This position is responsible for leadership, oversight, and coordination of a comprehensive student recruitment, admissions operations and admissions processing program. Responsibilities: *Manage, track, and analyze all Admissions-based data points with direct correlation to development of recruiting strategies. *Overall management responsibility of departmental workflow, ongoing performance management, staffing, training, development, and engagement of staff. *Responsible for managing process of inquiries to applicant; and applicant to new student. * Responsible for local inquiry generation. * Provide oversight of the recruitment and selection of all incoming students both new and transfer. Work with the Vice President of Enrollment Management to establish and manage against new student targets, both qualitative and quantitative. *Responsible for all outreach, recruitment, and admission activity for prospective students by the Admissions team: Execute against recruitment strategy Manage prospect and inquiry development Ensure response mechanism to be timely and targeted Design and implement appropriate Campus tours Attend and schedule appropriate college fairs and high school visits Establish relationships with school counselors, culinary program leaders, alumni, and industry leaders to develop optimal prospect pool *Identify and screen students for their likelihood of success in our programs Connect with appropriate faculty Develop communications plan specific to student interests and needs (i.e. alumni, faculty &/or current student). *Maximize the use of technology and tools in: The efficient completion and tracking of tasks within the Admissions team The timely and accurate reporting to the executive team Effective communication out to the prospective students, schools, industry organizations, as well as the faculty and staff at NECI. *Responsible for timely and effective follow-up of all prospect inquiries. *Strong involvement in all phases of Enrollment's marketing collateral pieces to non-enrolled inquiries *Responsible for collaboration with Alumni Relations and supporting initiatives that will generate support for our enrollment efforts. *Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: *2+ years of increasingly responsible experience in a management role; particularly admissions, recruitment or customer service. *Strong working knowledge of database software and excel with a strong aptitude for business reporting and analytics. Skills: *Superior leadership and coaching skills. *Excellent written and verbal communication skills. *Superior organizational and problem resolution skills.
