Our Client is looking for a Security Analyst for a twelve month contract opportunity in Springfield, MA. Duties Review security requirements, create and gather required documentation, and monitoring systems involved in the project. Work with network monitoring tools, have an understanding of windows and Unix security / (OS), and enterprise networking. Requirements: Familiar with NIST standards. Experience with intrusion detection systems, integrity and compliance applications, patch management, and firewalls. Experience with the UNIX and Windows operating systems, and their respective security approaches and philosophy. Experience in scripting/programming languages. Experience with cyber security best practices. Experience with report and presentation design tools. Knowledge of developing Policy, Procedure and Standards (NIST, CIP) Knowledge of Internet protocols, risk assessments and network security. SAN s Certification: Security Certification or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other similar systems security or information assurance professional credentials.
