Summary: Responsible for the receiving, unloading, sorting, and storage of field-grade thread protectors. Locates and transfers field-grade thread protectors from the yard to wash plant / production. Transfers reconditioned protectors to designated storage locations. Qualifications: To perform job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements list below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential function. Education/Experience: No minimum education required. High School Graduate preferable. Ability to distinguish different type and size thread protectors, read marking labels. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is most frequently required to work in outdoor environment, weather conditions, operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, and perform duties while walking and standing. Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
