Job Summary: Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is currently looking for a Maintenance Worker who is seeking a career industrial electrical work! This person will have the opportunity to work in our maintenance department with our industrial and electrical specialists. In this position you will learn how to maintain facility lighting, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems, troubleshoot VFD and process controllers, calibrate and maintain plant instrumentation, and learn how to recommend solutions to plant instrumentation and electrical problems. Assist in the development and installation of new electrical/process control systems. Learn how to perform calibrations and inspections of process control/electrical equipment with written documentation. Also perform all electrical maintenance in compliance with AGP prescribed guidelines and procedures. Work with AGP management in the development of plant projects and upgrade. Assist in maintaining past, current and future electrical systems prints. Assist with various projects and perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: Must have a fundamental understanding of electricity (AC & DC) Must have a fundamental understanding of electrical wiring Must have a basic understanding of motor controls Must be safety conscientious Knowledge of computer hardware and software systems Skilled in planning and organizing Ability to read electrical and mechanical blue prints Skilled in written and oral communication Strong attention to detail Knowledge of industrial electrical and motor control systems Knowledge of proper instrumentation installation, repair, and calibration procedures, preferred Working knowledge of PLC programming, preferred Two year degree in Electrical Technology or similar, required APPLY ONLINE AT: https://jobs-agp.icims.com/jobs/1331/maintenance-worker---electrical/job Ag Processing Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
