FedEx Ground Delivery Driver Needed (Safford, AZ) Location: Safford, AZ Job Type Full Time (Monday - Friday) Company: U.S. Domestic Holdings Years of Experience: At least 1 year driving like-sized commercial vehicle (Step Van or Straight Truck w/Gross Vehicle Weight of at least 10,000lbs) Education Level: High School or equivalent Company Description: FedEx Ground strives to be the best small-package ground delivery company serving business and residential customers in North America. We offer dependable business-to-business delivery and convenient residential service. Description: PT and FT positions. Drivers must be safe, friendly, and courteous. Drivers are responsible to loading their vans, planning their route, and safely delivering and picking up packages on time. Safe driving is a priority. This position is Monday through Friday, weekends off. Please review the driver qualifications below. FedEx will need a picture of the vehicle you drove (if the vehicle is not available to take a photo, you can provide a picture of one that looks similar) as well as a contact name and number of someone to call and verify your driving experience. FedEx Ground utilizes independent contractors to service its ground delivery and pick-up service. You will be employed by an independent contractor and supplied with a truck and everything you need to pick up and deliver our customers packages. Qualifications: You must be a minimum of 21 years of age Clean driving record for the past 39 months Drug Screen Background Check Customer Service Skills Must be available Monday Friday Must have a clean/neat appearance No equipment necessary DOT Physical (Company Paid) 1 Year driving experience of a like-sized commercial vehicle (CDL not required) within past three years required for consideration* Compensation: Salaried DOE As a package delivery industrial leader, FedEx Ground offers an excellent opportunities for it s drivers.
