The emphasis is placed on providing emotional support and assisting with living skills, including anger management, support with sexuality issues, socialization and community integration. Patience is a must. The successful candidate must be flexible regarding work schedule. Staff will be serving a highly energetic and interactive consumer. Staff must have excellent interpersonal skills. Active social engagement is a MUST! Hours include weekends, days, evenings, and holidays. A degree and/or experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities/mental health issues are preferred. One-year commitment.
