Must have a current valid Driver License and Journeyperson's Electrician License and be able to pass a drug test and background check Perform diagnostic, service, and installation electrical work for residential and commercial customers Understanding of residential & commercial wiring practices Thorough knowledge and understanding of electrical codes The ability to accurately diagnose and correct electrical installation errors The ability to install various electrical devices and light fixtures Ability to plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards Skilled in diagnostics Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures Excellent written and verbal communication skills Communicate and work with customers, builders, and homeowners in a positive and professional manner Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with Customers Communicate any issues to clients Ability to multitask while staying organized Follow direction of area supervisor and complete tasks in a timely manner Collect & record customer payments and costs for company databases Maintain a clean truck and truck stock of materials Must be able to work with others in a team environment Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Ability to lift 50 lbs. & climb ladders Strong verbal and written communications skills Positive customer service skills Accurately record work performed and materials used
