IOWA SPEEDWAYLocated near Des Moines, Iowa Speedway joined the NASCAR family of tracks in 2013. Known as the "Fastest Short Track on the Planet", Iowa Speedway plays host to two major race weekends a year, welcoming the ARCA Menards Series and the NTT INDYCAR Series. The track was designed by NASCAR Hall of Famer Rusty Wallace.This is an event-based position, shifts and hours will vary based on Iowa Speedway's event needs. * Assist with operational tasks in the credentialing office during event weekends: June 2024 * Aid in set-up and tear-down of the credentials office for each event * Verify identification and issue credentials to guests of the Speedway and event sponsors * Checking in/checking out event staff and issuing appropriate attire and equipment, ensuring equipment is returned in a proper manor * Ensure employee time coding is correct in Workday ProgramQualified candidate must maintain a positive attitude at all times, must be able to pay close attention to detail, must be flexible to fill in where needed and work in a fast-paced environment. Must be flexible to work event weekends.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
