Recording financial transactions and balancing the books. Post journal entries, and Update and maintain the general ledger. Reconciliation of entries into the accounting systems Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and for utility, tax, and other bills. Recording of debits and credits. Create and send invoices and follow up to get them paid. Make sure invoices from suppliers are accurate and paid in a timely manner. We are offering 27.75 hourly / 40 hours per week. Location - 8179 Main Street Vancouver BC V5X 3L2. Permanent Full-time position to be started as soon as possible. Job Requirements: A secondary School Completion Certificate is required. Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field Or2 3 years experience in accounting Additional Skills: Good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with other employees.
