Mid-size technology firm is looking for a Project Coordinator who understands technology and business management concepts. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys staying in tune with industry trends and gets a spine-tingling thrill from checklists, action items, deadlines, and processes. We thrive on tight deadlines and so should you. Working knowledge of popular software tools is a must, as you ll be expected to be resourceful, accessible, and responsive. Basically, you re a geek-lover with a passion for problem-solving and kickass service delivery. So are we. This position reports directly to executive management, involves high task variety, and is a role with tremendous growth potential. We recently promoted to EA resources to Director positions, so this will be competitive. Key Functions- Coordinate with executive team and internal resources, technical subject matter experts Reports status of operations and programs to executive management Facilitate teams to translate high-level business requirements to detailed specifications Coordinate with project members and facilitating groups to integrate the various elements of the project Facilitates effective and informative meetings within the organization Takes and types meeting notes Prepare project schedules and delegate activities and tasks to the project team Monitor project progress and ensure the effective and efficient performance of activities and tasks, and the adherence to the project objective.- Quickly discern project risks and issues and work with internal stakeholders to implement effective solutions. Communicate procedures and the usage of standard templates Coordinate with the appropriate personnel to meet project's training needs. Coordinate with the appropriate HR personnel when resolving escalated employee issues, as needed Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in business or related field or a combination of education and experience Excellent written and oral communication skills Demonstrated ability to fully meet job specific skill requirements in the following areas - financial, customer service, management, HR, technical Experience in coordinating projects across a diverse group of employees and working with multiple levels of management 2 years experience as a project coordinator (or equivalent) 5 years of experience or more with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Excel) Preferred qualifications: 2+ years experience at a Fortune 500 Exposure to SDLC or technology consulting MBA degree Key Attributes: Tenacious, goal-oriented individual Adaptive, with a voracious appetite for learning Quick problem-solving abilities Exceptional verbal and written communication skills both over the phone and in person Highly organized and process oriented This cannot be overstated: You must be an effective communicator Thrive under pressure and manage stress well Collaborate well across technical and nontechnical teams You know how to lead from behind Ideal candidates will also demonstrate: Proven ability to quickly obtain a thorough understanding of the company's business model Proven ability in identifying, tracking, monitoring, and addressing risks and issues Proven ability in defining, judging and substantiating that all milestones have been met Proven ability in identifying and prioritizing dependencies; addressing constraints; and assumptions TO APPLY To apply, submit a cover letter and answer the following questions: o Describe your personality.
