Managed drivers hours of service, gave direct work orders daily to over 100 drivers and made sure they stayed within the rules of the D.O.T. and Roadways SOP s. Ensured all Outbound/Inbound freight was planned and coordinated out everyday for prompt pickup and delivery. Enforced all safety rules, company policies and procedures. Provided performance management, training, feedback and guidance ensuring effective utilization of all resources. Focused and maintained company goals for controlling all costs over driver delay times, shop times, and mileage cost.
