Employee assistance program Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Full Job Description JOB SUMMARY: Operate second folder, Assist Lead Operator in all aspects of operating press and act as Lead in their absence. -Wage for this position is $26-30$ per hour depending on experience. -We offer paid sick and vacation leave; health, dental, and vision insurance; and 401k with company match. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing. Must be able to run the press independently and produce quality jobs. Must be able to satisfy physical requirements as listed below.JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have full knowledge and responsibilities of General Worker positionMust have full knowledge and responsibilities of Roll Tender positionMust know all aspects of printing including but not limited to:Ability to setup press for all types of printed productAbility to recognize and correct problems with offset printing pressesAbility to set and adjust ink and water balanceAbility to set color to proof and gray barAbility to set register of four-color printingAbility to adjust web tensionsAbility to set and adjust press rollersAbility to setup and adjust press foldersAbility to read and comprehend Press Work OrdersAbility to work safely and understand safety procedures involved in the operation of printing pressesAbility to work with other members of a crewCheck first copy off on every run for acceptable quality, pages in correct order, color lined up, even ink, centered compensation, good fold and that all copy is on page, etc.Make sure all palleting is neat and bundling and counts are correct.Make sure all pallets and boxes are labeled correctly and quantities match run list.During run, fine tune and always check last copy when press goes down.Pull 3 best copies of every run.Keep quality at maximum and waste at minimum.Completely fill out all forms pertinent to shift.
