Fort Bend Independent School District is seeking qualified applicants for the following position: Middle School Principal School Year: 2024-2025 Location: TBD Job Overview: The Principal will define the vision and mission of the school, provide strong educational leadership to ensure high standards of instruction; ensure compliance with FBISD district policies and perform related district-wide administrative duties as required and/or assigned. Qualifications: Master's Degree Valid Texas Mid-Management or Principal Certification Advancing Educational Leadership (AEL) certificate or its equivalent Instructional Leadership Development (ILD or ILT) or must be obtained within 3 months of the start date as designated by the Department of School Leadership Board Approved T-TESS Certification or must be obtained within 3 months of the start date as designated by the Department of School Leadership Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience as an assistant principal, associate principal or dean of instruction Minimum of 2 years of successful classroom teaching experience Possesses a moral and ethical compass Demonstrates a heart and passion for leadership Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness Ability to manage personnel Ability to coordinate campus functions Ability to implement policy and procedures Ability to interpret data Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
