VA St. Louis Health Care System is recruiting our Nurse Practitioner Residency Program. that starts July 17, 2023. To qualify for consideration, you must have graduated within 12 months prior to the July 17 start date and have NOT worked as an NP. You must be licensed and certified. If selected, you will be a paid Health Professions Trainees with a Mon-Fri 8a-4:30p clinic schedule, receive a stipend, 11 paid federal holidays, 4 weeks of leave, plus health insurance during training. If you are selected to convert to full VA employee status at the end of training, you will keep any leave you have accrued. Note! Applications must be submitted by April 3, 2023! Candidates can still apply even if they don't finish their programs until May or early August.
