Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are seeking Housing Litigation Solicitor to join their team on a contract basis. Please find below further details with regards to the role and the responsibilities. ROLE: Housing Litigation Solicitor LOCATION: London CONTRACT: 6 months with possibility of extension RATE: £50.00 to £55.00 per hour Please note that this position would require court attendance. Attendance frequency would depend on caseload. The Role To progress a full caseload of Housing Litigation matters through to completion Matters will cover a wide range of housing law matters including housing disrepair To undertake won advocacy when required to do so in the county, high, crown and magistrate court The Person A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 12 months PQEPrevious experience in working within a local authority would be desirable for this position Experience in progressing housing law matters, including disrepair, would be essential for this role If this Housing Litigation Solicitor role sounds like an opportunity of interest, please feel free to reach out to Lloyd Stanley on 01772 xyzxyz , or email also welcome referrals for this position, where a successful recommendation would be worth £250 each.
