Technical Consultant I

Description:
Duties: Design, create and develop software code, write test cases, establish design patterns and frameworks, and contribute to best coding practices. Collaborate with a team of software designers and developers to deliver high quality internally designed software and processes within budget and on schedule. Participate in full software development life cycle delivering robust high-performance applications and services adhering to team and corporate standards, guidelines, and policies. Guide and mentor junior members of the team in object-oriented and functional programming paradigms / languages. Investigate the design implications of incorporating analytics into solutions, delivering information to users through a variety of interfaces. Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Technology Management, Engineering, or a related field; plus 5 years of related experience. Requires 5 years of experience with all of the following: i) Coding and testing of large-scale business applications and frameworks; ii) Python, C# or Java, ETL tools; iii) AWS technologies such as: IAM, SQS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, Redis, S3, Athena; iv) Relational and NoSQL databases; v) N-tiered architecture, SOA, REST Services, JSON, XML; vi) Data engineering and productionizing the cloud-based architectures; vii) Cloud-based design, AWS Services; viii) Continuous integration/continuous deployment, automation tool experience Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo; and ix) Test Driven Development, Unit Testing, and Use Cases. 40 hours/week, $169,229 to $174,229 per year.
