Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with guests and collaborate effectively with team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, prioritizing tasks, and delivering excellent service under pressure. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the hospitality industry. Should be comfortable standing for long periods and managing a very busy shift. 18 years + of age A spark of creativity and an innovation driven mindset Job Description: A GAMEROOM Host is tasked with g reeting guests as they enter the restaurant. You ensure the restaurant’s success by remembering you make the first impression on our most important person — our guest, and it is up to you to ensure he/she chooses to dine and shop with us! Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions, all while providing spectacular customer service. Our Host are responsible for e ngaging with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service while maintaining a safe and immaculate workspace. What will you be doing daily? Being an ambassador of fun, ensuring each guest will want to come back again and again. Provide exceptional guest service by warmly welcoming guests, engaging in friendly and professional conversation, and ensuring a personalized and enjoyable experience. Maintain a clean and organized host stand. Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols. Consistently greet and remain attentive to guests and their needs Reporting to work on time, in a clean uniform, on scheduled days, with proper tools, to perform required duties Work closely with other team members, including servers, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure smooth operations and a seamless guest experience. Provide support during busy periods and assist in other areas of the establishment when needed. Understand the full menu and all signature items (including retail signature items) Performing opening, closing and side duties as required Performing job duties in accordance with restaurant policies, procedures and standards Completely responsible for the assigned station is organized and properly stocked ensuring rotation, freshness, and quality of all products Responsible for understanding basics of Health Dept. policies and how they impact daily operations to assist with full compliance. Picking up debris or food from the floor, tables, and chairs, and being attentive to overall restaurant cleanliness Seamlessly managing and navigating reservations, wait times, phone calls, and guest comments and concerns Communicating reservation and wait list needs with servers and management as tables become available and while seating tables Actively selling to capture business, drive results, and promote the restaurant menu and retail items. Learning and navigating the FOH operating/POS systems Capitalizing on promotions, specials, and signature items in both restaurant and retail Being attentive to guests needs before they need to ask for assistance Following up on and confirming reservations and/or events Be able to memorize all table and seat numbers, server stations, and be able to seat tables in proper rotation to support servers Planning seating arrangements ahead based on upcoming events or reservations in partnership with the Manager.
