Pediatric Overnight 1:1 Shift Work (RN/LPN) Full-time (Overnight)Tucson, AZ and surrounding areasRetention Bonus: $2000.00The Pediatric Overnight 1:1 Shift Work (RN or LPN) is responsible for providing one-to-one care for pediatric patients who require continuous monitoring during the overnight shift. The shift hours are typically 7 PM - 7 AM or similar, based on the needs of the patient and health care organization.If you are tired of being stretched too thin and want provide patients the care they deserve through one on one care, apply today and become a healthcare hero to our patients and their families! Responsibilities: - Monitor and assess the patient's vital signs, physical condition, and mental status hourly- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, patient, and family- Respond promptly to changes in the patient's condition- Provide comfort measures as appropriate- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and clinical pathways- Maintain a safe and clean patient environment- Continuous monitoring of medical equipment and notifying other medical personnel when needed- Facilitating patient communication with care team Requirements: - Current RN or LPN licensure in State of [Insert State]- Previous experience in pediatric care preferred- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (or obtain within 60 calendar days of hire)- Exceptional assessment, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to act quickly and effectively in emergency situations- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)- Ability to stand and walk during entire shift and lift patients when needed- Must be willing to work overnight shiftsOur ideal candidate for this role is an experienced RN or LPN who has excellent observational skills and is dedicated to providing compassionate pediatric care.
