NiteLines USA, Inc. has an immediate need for LPNs in the Lexington, OK area. LOCATION: Lexington Assessment and Reception Center in Lexington, OKPAY RATE: $24.00/hr HOURS: Day Shift : 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Night Shift : 6:00 pm - 6:00 am DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall be responsible for, but is not limited to: Provide patient care services in accordance with legal, ethical, and institutional standards through the evaluation of patients and therapeutic treatment as ordered by Health Services clinical staff Perform duties within the scope of the current licensure Administer medications as prescribed i.e., by mouth, intradermally, subcutaneously, or intramuscularly Distribute medications at pill line Document all encounters in the electronic medical record Perform skin testing Record diagnostic testing, i.e., finger sticks, visual acuity testing, EKOs (per instructions from mid-level practitioners or physicians) Ensure all sharps are secured, accounted for, stored and disposed of according to institutional and national policy Assist the mid-level practitioners and physicians in the management of patients Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality Adhere to infection control policies and procedures Ability and skill to operate EKG, PFTs, and spirometry Perform duties as required, but accept only those nursing assignments that are commensurate with his/her educational preparation, training, experience, and nursing licensure laws REQUIREMENTS: The LPN shall possess valid, current and unrestricted license to practice nursing within the state of Oklahoma while employed under contract and current CPR certification. Shall be a graduate from an accredited LPN program. Must be a citizen of the U.S. IMPORTANT: Candidates who wish to be considered for this opportunity should have the following qualifications on hand Updated Resume with three (3) professional references Copy of LPN License Copy of BLS/CPR card (front & back) Copy of Degree/Certification Proof of immunizations
