Summary of Job Functions Under the general direction of the Senior System Administrator, the System Administrator performs a variety of technical tasks in the area of computer systems and networks: Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications/equipment Provides technical support and guidance to users Responsible for the analysis of hardware and software in a distributed networking environment utilizing network management and monitoring software and systems Prepare and follow department documentation and procedures Provide 2nd and 3rd line support as necessary to support all user desktop environments including Virtual Desktop Infrastructure VMs Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or another related field 5+ years managing a vSphere vCenter environment 5+ years set up and troubleshooting of Windows Server systems & associated applications 3+ years’ experience managing Business ContinuityDisaster RecoveryBackup solutions Experience with datacenter hardware and cabling Management of shared storage systems (iSCSI/Fiber Channel) Advanced TCP/IP knowledge - routing/subnetting/dns/dhcp & troubleshooting network issues Windows Desktop Support and applications deploymenttroubleshooting Preferred Skills and Experience Linux experience in a professional/corporate setting, specifically Ubuntu/Debian, RHEL/CentOS Virtual Desktop Infrastructure specifically VMWare Horizon Experience in Finance Industry desired Excellent written and verbal communication skills Job Location Jupiter, FL Compensation and Benefits Competitive base salary Profit sharing bonus Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance 401k Additional Information Voloridge Investment Management is an SEC-registered investment advisor.
