Paso Robles Veterinary Medical Clinic is looking for an Associate DVM to join our team! We are a full-service animal hospital dedicated to providing the best veterinary care for pets in the Paso Robles, CA community. Due to growing demand, we are expanding our hours and hiring an Associate DVM to join our compassionate, experienced team. We are seeking an experienced veterinarian who is available to work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday to help cover our new expanded hours of operation. Living in Paso Robles Paso Robles is a charming city located in California's Central Coast wine region, halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco. With its beautiful rolling hills, oak trees, and vineyards, Paso Robles offers a relaxed pace of life and plenty of outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and exploring wine country. The historic downtown area has great restaurants, shops, events, and a lively arts scene, making Paso Robles an ideal place to settle down and enjoy small-town living with world-class amenities. What We Offer Competitive Salary ($140,000 - $200,000 per year) Production Bonus Pay Medical/Dental/Vision insurance Relocation assistance available Paid Time Off & Holidays Continuing Education time off and reimbursement Employee Referral Program Financial Wellness Program 401K retirement savings with company match Paid license fees, VIN/Plumbs membership, and Liability Insurance Work/Life Balance (me time) Core Responsibilities & Requirements Supports excellence in client experience Works collaboratively with HM and Medical Director Practices high quality, gold standard medicine Examine, diagnose, and treat animals brought into the veterinary clinic/hospital for medical care Perform surgical procedures as needed, including routine spay/neuter operations as well as more complex surgeries Prescribe and administer medications, treatments, and preventative care plans Counsel pet owners on animal health, nutrition, behavior, and overall wellbeing Interpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays, blood work, etc. and develop treatment plans Maintain comprehensive patient medical records and documentation Assist in emergencies and provide urgent/critical care when needed Mentor and oversee veterinary technicians and support staff Stay up-to-date on new veterinary techniques, medications, and best practices Competencies And Experience Valid and in good standing licensed veterinarian within the state of CA 2+ years of clinical experience Strong clinical skills and sound medical judgment Good communication skills, both written and verbal Time-management and delegation abilities Exercises sound judgement and demonstrates exemplary decision-making skills Professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with others Apply today!
