***$1000 SIGN ON BONUS for full time clinicians Central Coast Home Health & Hospice is a fast-growing, locally owned and operated organization with an excellent reputation throughout the Central Coast. We are now seeking a part time or full-time Medical Social Worker to work with both Home Health and Hospice Adult and Pediatric patients in the South San Luis Obispo County area (5 cities/Santa Maria/Lompoc). Social Work is a rewarding career for self-motivated, organized, and compassionate individuals who work well with minimal direction, as well as having excellent interpersonal and analytical skills. Requirements: Master's Degree from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education OR bachelor's degree in social work or related field. Minimum of one-year social work experience in a healthcare setting, home health &/or hospice experience preferred. Understand the "hospice philosophy" and issues of death and dying Reliable vehicle to drive for work Current Driver's license Clean background & driving record Maintain auto insurance coverage CPR certified Attributes: Act calmly and professionally at all times Strong organization and communication skills Work well independently and in a team environment High attention to detail and good follow up We offer for full time positions, flexible schedules, competitive pay & benefits including medical, dental, vision, holiday pay, 401(k), gym membership, continuing education, paid sick and personal time off.
