Santa Margarita Ford is currently seeking a full-time BDC Service Appointment Coordinator who is comfortable assisting guests over the phone or online to coordinate their vehicle service needs. This is an entry level position for anyone looking to start a career in the automotive business. JOB DUTIES: Making outbound phone calls Receiving inbound phone calls Setting service appointments Service reminders Survey follow-up Service shuttle coordination Ask customers qualifying questions to uncover needs and directs calls appropriately Establish relationships with the customers and follow through on commitments made Ensure Service Advisors receive messages promptly Participate in team and process development- keeping positive relationships with the service team and dealership departments to reduce conflict and maximize dealer profitability JOB REQUIREMENTS: While no experience is necessary, an ideal candidate will be dependable, professional, and have a positive, can-do attitude. Other requirements include: 18 years of age or older. General familiarity with a variety of automobiles. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Pre-employment background check and drug test. Must be willing to work as part of a team. Must have basic computer and phone skills.
