The ideal candidate should possess a J.D. degree, be admitted to the New York State Bar and/or D.C. Bar, and demonstrate expertise in renewables with a focus on debt and tax equity documents.Duties:Provide legal counsel and support on U.S. domestic renewables transactions, including solar, wind, energy storage, and alternative fuels.Draft, review, and negotiate complex project documents related to energy and infrastructure projects.Serve as the lead associate, overseeing all aspects of U.S. renewables transactions, ensuring compliance and efficiency.Work collaboratively with sponsors and lenders, representing both parties in the negotiation and execution of energy projects.Conduct legal research and analysis related to regulatory compliance, project finance, and energy policy.Requirements:J.D. degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New York State Bar and/or D.C. Bar.Proven background in renewables, specifically U.S. domestic renewables.Experience with debt and tax equity documents in the context of energy and infrastructure projects.Knowledge of project documents and the ability to take a lead role in transactions.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the New York State Bar and/or D.C. Bar.Skills:Expertise in U.S. domestic renewables, including solar, wind, energy storage, and alternative fuels.Strong understanding of debt and tax equity documents in the context of energy projects.Ability to manage and lead all aspects of U.S. renewables transactions.Excellent legal research and analytical skills.Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
