The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience, with specific expertise in labor and employment law being a valuable asset. The individual must be licensed to practice law in the state of Oregon.Duties:Represent clients in labor and employment law cases, including but not limited to wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour disputes.Provide legal advice and guidance on labor and employment-related issues to clients.Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and legal opinions.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements.Participate in negotiations, mediations, and settlements on behalf of clients.Stay informed about developments in labor and employment law and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Requirements:Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience.Proven experience in labor and employment law is highly desirable.Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Oregon.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active license to practice law in the state of Oregon.Skills:Strong litigation and negotiation skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Legal research and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Attention to detail and organizational skills.Benefits:The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:Health, dental, and vision plans for the employee, spouse/domestic partner, and children.Mental health programs.Life and disability insurance.401(k) retirement plan.Family building, parenting, and caregiving support.Multiple voluntary benefits options.
