Duties:Engage directly with clients and lead significant projects related to cyber, data, and privacy matters.Provide legal counsel on regulatory investigations and litigation involving consumer protection issues (State AG, FTC, and other regulatory agencies).Defend against data privacy and security class actions, including claims under the Stored Communications Act, wiretapping claims, and allegations of unfair and deceptive trade practices.Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and advise on risk management strategies.Stay abreast of evolving laws and regulations related to cybersecurity, data protection, and privacy. Requirements:7+ years of experience focusing on regulatory investigations or litigation involving consumer protection issues.Expertise in defending data privacy and security class actions.High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.General tech fluency. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a nationally recognized law school. Certifications:Relevant certifications in cybersecurity, data protection, or privacy (preferred but not mandatory). Skills:Impeccable analytical and writing skills.Ability to engage directly with clients and lead significant projects.Strong knowledge of laws and regulations related to cybersecurity, data protection, and privacy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
