Regular or Temporary: Regular Language Fluency: English (Required) Work Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Please review the following job description: The Regional Director generates sales revenue to obtain sales quota. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.1. Prospect, profile and manage existing producer groups to generate revenue by developing relationships, phone canvassing, foot canvassing, vertical marketing, direct mail, and developing referrals2. Focus on high producing agents to improve agent retention and increase productivity Typically able to successfully maintain at least 20 Tier 1 agents3. Typically maintains a consistent blend of Permanent vs. Term business Demonstrate an ability to achieve up to $750,000 in annual revenue production4. Develop a Business Plan with Sales Leadership that details activities to be followed during the fiscal year, which will focus on producing or exceeding quota.5. Presents, conducts and organizes seminars for agents6. Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in areas of life, annuity, long-term care, and disability Understanding of the Underwriting process and is able to navigate a case from presale to placement7. Works at improving both product and professional skills by participating and facilitating in training sessions within Crump and through independent efforts8. Visit at least eight agents per month, maintains accurate records of all activities (calls, presentations, sales, etc.) within their assigned producer group to maximize marketing and territory potential9. Acts as a mentor team members across sales force Host producer study group meetings twice a year10. Develop agents to increase business and raise the level of production11. Attain level of productivity to incorporate personal business travel to meet one-on-one with highly productive agents Direct, constructive, consultative sales approach with producers QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Effective interpersonal and written communication skills3. Ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers4. Effective time management skills5. Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously6. Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment7. Ability to work in a self-directed fashion8. Experience with PCs in a Windows environment9. Progressive, entrepreneurial selling skills10. Expert-level knowledge and experience in life products, complex case design, carrier limits/strengths, understanding of which carriers to go to, and advanced concepts11. Proven experience in recruiting their own book of business12. Excellent knowledge of sales process13. Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to present advances sales concepts to producers14. Ability to build, manage and develop strong interpersonal relationships15. Excellent prospecting, presentation, and conceptual selling skills16. Ability to display maturity, competitiveness, and good work ethic17. Demonstrated ability to achieve up to $500,000 in annual revenue production18. Five years of successful experience as a Sales Associate with proven proficiency in developing strategic sales plan and continually achieving or exceeding assigned quotas, or experience in the Life product industry with proven proficiency in product and industry knowledge19. Effective presentation skills Preferred Qualifications: 1.
