Description:
A manufacturing company is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to coordinate, schedule, and complete shipping and receiving duties. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Responsibilities: Receive inbound MRO, tools, dies, lubricants, raw materials, and other shipmentsCoordinate inbound and secondary shipment document with necessary departments or customersComplete all shipping and receiving documentationKeep adequate supply of inventory and move materials using forklift and report defective materialsMaintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment and abide by all safety regulationsManage outbound shipmentsInterpret packing slips, complete bills of lading, and enter data into computerPerform other duties as needed Job RequirementsQualifications: Must have a High School Diploma or GEDMust have at least 1 year manufacturing experience in shipping and receiving; previous experience in a metal industry is preferredWorking with suppliers of manufacturing/industrial material is preferredAt least 3+ years' experience on a sit down electric or propane tow motor; must be willing to be certified by the companyMust have experience using UPS, DHL, and FedEx SoftwareMust be able to speak English, follow instructions, and use basic math skillsMust be able to multi-task with accuracy while working in a fast-paced and interrupting environmentMust be detail-oriented, meticulous, innovative, and well organizedMust be able to safely lift 30 to 50 pounds and follow all safety requirementsOnly those candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
