They are currently seeking an Engineering Design Manager Facades paying up to £60,000 to head up the design team at their world-class manufacturing facility in Wolverhampton. Working closely with a number of UK leading developers, builders, and architects they hold an enviable market-leading position, creating and providing innovative solutions to the construction market. What’s in it for you as an Engineering Design Manager: - Salary £50-60k per annum - Company pension contribution up to 10 matched - Private healthcare - Accredited training & personal development. Key Accountabilities of the Engineering Design Manager: - Lead, mentor and manage the GRC Glass Reinforced Concrete Facade Design and Engineering teams - Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture to drive creativity and productivity - Monitor project progress in collaboration with the team leaders - Develop and execute design strategies aligned with company goals - Implement and maintain design standards and guidelines - Implementation of Autodesk Inventor Software - Manage design team resources, workload distribution - Training and development of team to enhance and build on existing skillset. Knowledge, Skills & Experience needed to be an Engineering Design Manager: - Project delivery, timely delivery of projects to agreed deadlines - Evaluate the quality of design work and - Monitor team performance giving regular feedback and coaching - Encourage innovative design solutions and creative ideas to problem solve - Design.
