IFS Zone Manager Founded in 1997, IFS is the union affiliate of KBS, the largest privately held provider of facility services in North America. KBS has more than 100,000 active customer locations in all 50 U.S. states, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. IFS is looking for a professional, energetic, and dynamic Zone Manager to oversee operations within a designated area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating with staff, and ensuring efficient store operations needed to oversee and perform janitorial staff activities at multiple accounts in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN Area. This position offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team, manage store operations efficiently, and contribute to the success of the business. The position is high profile within a busy customer driven environment. Experience: Managerial and building services maintenance experience including janitorial/housekeeping with floor care (stripping, waxing) is highly preferred. Successful candidates must have superior work ethics, customer service skills, and technical knowledge in all facets of commercial cleaning including administrative duties. Must possess a “hands-on" and proactive style of management with the ability to motivate and lead the work of others. Will be responsible for providing on-the-job training, maintaining cooperative working relationships, and the ability to analyze situations and take effective actions. Effective communication skills applicable to all levels within the organization. Strong understanding of inventory control practices and proficient in utilizing POS systems, with the ability to implement principles/procedures to optimize sales and profits. Experience managing in unionized environments. Requirements: 3 or more years of experience in management, preferably retail or janitorial. Ability to perform and demonstrate proper janitorial duties. Travel in personal vehicle/reliable transportation. Bilingual in Spanish and English is strongly preferred. Ability to perform physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations.
