YOT Practitioner - Bexleyheath Are you a passionate, dedicated YOT Practitioner looking for your next role 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a YOT Practitioner to join a team based in Bexleyheath. Umbrella Rate: £26.46 per hour Duration: 6 months initially Hours: 3 days a week, 9am – 5pm – Hybrid YOT Practitioner role: Full JD Available To work directly with children aged 10 to 17 years and occasionally young adults referred for an out of court disposal or by the court Case management of high risk/ likelihood of re-offending cases Assessment, planning and delivery of interventions Provide support, guidance and assistance to children and young people and their parents Acting a referrer to inventions available in Adult Services Manage cases identified for transition to probation and be responsible for managing transition Undertake allocation to Adult Services for transition cases Liaison and sentence planning with the Probation Service regarding transition cases Prosecute breaches where these are contested by the child Act as a point of contact for the Probation Service Victim Liaison Units regarding cases eligible for Victim Contact Service involvement Work as part of a multi-agency team across organisational boundaries with key partners to support needs prevent reoffending Make effective use of resources to meet the needs of children and young people Report any safeguarding or risk-related issues and concerns to management in a timely and appropriate manner Act as appropriate adult when young people are being interviewed at a Police Station as required Prepare reports such as Pre-Sentence Reports, Breach Reports, Information for MAPPA etc. Prepare bail applications which manage the perceived risks of the children and young people by the application of external controls and support Provide a service to the court, to help inform sentencing and bail decisions On site access to the Probation Service IT to help with background checks Maintain accurate recordings.
