Working Foreman

· Will work in conjunction with Supervisors on a day to day basis · Responsible for Boring Equipment set-ups and managing operators · Organize personnel according to daily schedule. · Verifies that all machinery is producing at company standards as well as Quality and Safety. · Ensure company safety standards at all times. · Consistently deliver the best in customer service. As an employee, demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with customers, visitors and other employees. · Champion RSI’s mission, vision and values; comply with the policies and procedures, ethical standards and code of conduct set forth by the company. III. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required Experience: 5 years of manufacturing experience as a Machine Operator Previous experience with Boring Equipment Skills: Ability to comprehend and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others Ability to assess and prioritize tasks. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must possess full knowledge of setup/change over all equipment within the cell/line, and perform them at standard operating rates within minimum downtime. Must have Drawing/Blueprint reading ability, Quality control experience using calipers, and basic math skills (calculate measurements). IV. PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Typical Working Conditions: (Describe environment including exposure to heat, cold, fumes, chemicals, allergens, mold, etc.) Manufacturing warehouse environment with constant noise and working around machinery equipment Equipment Used: (List all manual and automated equipment used in the course of performing essential functions.) Boring Equipment and other equipment as necessary Essential Physical Tasks: (List all physical tasks encountered in performing essential functions.)
