Laurel, NJ office. This full-time position is designed for candidates who excel in time management, writing, and communication. The successful applicant will thrive in a collaborative, high-volume environment and be eager to address the needs of clients while delivering effective legal solutions.DutiesEvaluate new files and assess the merits of cases.Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and legal guidance.Manage the production of discovery materials and documentation.Conduct legal research and prepare detailed legal memoranda on various areas of law.Draft, argue, and prepare discovery motions, substantive motions, and pre- and post-trial motions.Attend pretrial listings, motions hearings, and trials as needed.RequirementsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school.Active license to practice law in New Jersey, in good standing.1-3 years of relevant experience in New Jersey workers’ compensation and insurance defense is preferred but not mandatory.EducationJuris Doctorate from an accredited institution.CertificationsActive bar admission in New Jersey.SkillsStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Proficient in legal research and analysis.BenefitsOpportunity to work in a supportive and collegial work environment.Commitment to equal employment opportunities and a diverse workplace.
