The brand is seeking an highly experienced Wholesale Director for the fashion industry to direct, manage and develop the wholesale activity and wholesale accounts for our brand in the U.S./North American market.Scope of positionThe Wholesale Director will act as the manager and coordinator of Ba&sh wholesales activity, directing the Companys wholesales operations in wholesale corners in department stores and with distributors. In this role, s/he will be in charge of analyzing the Companys wholesale performance and formulating efficient action plans to develop the wholesale. S/he will also manage the Companys wholesale team, motivating them to deliver remarkable wholesale results to ensure max profitability and training them in providing exquisite customer background to ensure customers loyalty and satisfaction. This position will also encompass defining wholesale goals, developing new partnerships with department stores and distributora, suggesting opening of new wholesales accounts based on wholesale potential, overseeing department stores and distributors wholesale activities, creating and analyzing performance reports, promoting a positive working environment, motivating and training wholesale teams, among others. The Wholesale Director needs to have solid leadership abilities combined with a strong background in the fashion industry, as well as with department stores and distributors processes. Ba&sh is seeking an experienced professional with outstanding managerial, analytical, business, negotiation, presentation, merchandising, and communication abilities to ensure our steady success and development in the U.S. market.Required skills, Education & Background: Masters Degree in Business, Management, Sales, or Law. Additional Degree in Fashion is a plus. Min of 5 yrs of background in managing and performing wholesale activities for the fashion industry, including proven performances/results with department stores and distributors for a fashion chain retailer, and proven work history of wholesale revenue growth as well as accounts acquisition and retention. Background with international markets greatly favored. Existing portfolio of wholesale accounts & contacts greatly valued. Excellent wholesale, managerial, negotiation, organizational, analytical, customer-service, training, communication, issue solving and planning skills. Creative thinker, capable of thriving in a high energy environment, by prioritizing and overseeing multiple projects. Must have confirmed abilities to: lead, analyze, define wholesale performances goals, devise action plans to develop activity, define wholesales strategies, develop accounts with department stores, agents and distributors, negotiate contracts, network, recruit, build, train and manage competent wholesale teams (agents, distributors, etc.). Must display professional behavior with the expertise to positively influence employees demeanor; Hardworking professional, exceptionally self-motivated, independent, directed, detail and results oriented. Must have superior verbal and written correspondence abilities in both English and French to liaise and communicate with the Companys headquarter located in France, including with French speaking higher management, and various other departments with expertise to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
