The Welder is responsible and accountable for: Following welding diagrams, work orders and frame design layout. Setting up, operating and maintaining welding and cutting equipment. Positioning and clamping work pieces together or assemble them in a jig. Welding in flat, horizontal and vertical position. Grinding welds flush and smooth with proper feathering of welded/ground area to flat surfaces. Maintaining accurate paperwork and record keeping. Basic forklift operations. Receiving incoming shipments of materials properly. Separating and labeling materials for specific jobs. Pulling stock items for sales orders. Assisting warehouse manager with inventory counts and controls. Assisting with deliveries. Essential Functions Welding Driving box truck, flatbed pickup, or van Forklift operation Maintaining paperwork Other warehouse duties as assigned Experience & Other Requirements Have a class C non CDL license High School diploma or GED Accurately use a tape measure Able to read work orders, emails, and shipping forms 2 or more years’ experience welding with gas-shielded arc (MIG/GMAW) required Powered by JazzHR
