Benefits: Guaranteed 40/hr schedule with open availability!! We have full-time and part-time positions available! Competitive Pay – $22/hr (DOE) for reliable and seasoned staff working FRIDAY - MONDAY (time of day varies). Health/Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 K Paid Training – Quality training consisting of over 15 topics utilizing a combination of hands-on demonstrations and web-based training. Friendly Environment – 24-hour support available, a fun team-centric atmosphere Companionship & Friendship – Create lasting relationships with seniors and their loved ones Flexibility – Flexible scheduling with the opportunity to work near your home. Caregiver Responsibilities: Help clients take prescribed medication Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.) Assist clients with personal care and hygiene Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Caregiver Requirements: Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner Outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills Physical endurance to complete required tasks Eligible to work in the United States Submit to Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record Submit to Pre-Employment Drug Screening High school diploma or equivalent Join Our Team at Comfort Keepers!
