The City of Nacogdoches is currently accepting applications for the Plant Operator position. A Class C Surface Water certificate is preferred, but if you don't have one, don't worry! You'll be trained on the job until you attain it. This role involves performing operational, laboratory, and maintenance functions in a Wastewater Treatment and Ground Water operation. The duties aim to ensure the safe treatment of wastewater and groundwater and the disposal of domestic and commercial waste materials. The job also includes performing standard laboratory tests and assisting with plant and facilities maintenance.
