Description:
Position Purpose The Warranty Booker is responsible for handling all administrative tasks associated with Warranty Repairs at the dealership. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Properly code and book all warranty repairs as per factory guidelines. Identify the proper technician for each warranty repair. Communicate with technicians for any clarifications regarding work orders. Ensure there is a client signature on all warranty repair orders. Notice any discrepancies before booking the repair order. Such as items that are not covered by factory warranty. Have any add on warranty repair lines authorized by management. Attach all the battery test sheets, alignment sheets and diagnostic test sheets to the corresponding repair order for audit purposes. All diagnostic printouts and test results be attached to dispatch copy. Move any parts necessary to the correct lines on the repair orders. Correct mileage in/mileage out if there has been any road test performed. Follow up with any nonpayment or corrections for extended warranty with the cashier, which is generated from the analysis of the extended warranty schedule. Verify non-time has exact Display Punch time or DPT. Files and maintains all service records as required by the warrantor. Keep work area clean and organized at all times Adhere to work schedule and arrive at work before your scheduled start time and be at your work station productively engaged by the scheduled time. Complies with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety and personal protection equipment as required. Adhere to established dress code policy at all times. Safeguard customer and Dealer information per established policy. Exemplifies organizational culture and holds others in department accountable for doing the same. Accomplishes all current and future tasks as appropriately assigned or requested. Other related duties as may be assigned.
