Warehouse Supervisor (Team Leader) Bedford A GBP 27,500 + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + 8 Employer Pension + 4 Employee Pension + 2 x Life Assurance + Sick Pay + Income Protection Scheme + Health Plan Monday to Thursday 8.45am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.45am to 4.00pm Warehouse Supervisor position available in a professional and people focused business. The role will suit those looking for a busy role in a friendly and team: based culture. for the Warehouse Supervisor role, you will have experience working within a warehouse and logistics focused role. You need to be confident leading a small team, demonstrate excellent communication skills and be PC literate. Whilst a forklift licence is advantageous, training will be provided to use a Flexi forklift. Youll be responsible for the companys warehouse and inventory function. This will include ensuring all goods in and out are effectively managed in line with H and S standards and guidelines. This is a hands: on leadership role where you will supervise a small number of warehouse controllers. You will enjoy working for a highly reputable and secure business where employees contribution to the business is valued. The Warehouse Supervisor Role in Brief: Responsible for warehouse and inventory 3 direct reports Ensure all H and S guidelines are adhered to Work closely with other departments Minimise holding and storage costs Process inbound and outbound goods Assist with MRP, stock control and forecasting Ensure good housekeeping and safe working practices Ensure the team have the relevant training and communicate regularly The Person required for the Warehouse Supervisor: Experience working within a warehouse and logistics focused role Able to lead a small team People focused IT literate Strong focus on customer satisfaction and long: term customer relationship building.
