East View Map Link is located in Maple Plain, MN - just 20 minutes west of Minneapolis, MN. Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Production & Fulfillment Manager – Special Account, this position is responsible for picking, packing, and shipping of paper map products in a warehouse environment. Essential Job Functions: Arrive on time when scheduled to work Maintain Warehouse; ensure neat and orderly storage of products Fulfill orders by manually pulling, packing, and shipping light-weight maps, books, and atlases using envelopes, boxes, and tubes Assemble and ship "Print on Demand" (POD) maps Prepare maps for shipping by rolling and tubing Utilize shipping software Manage inventory including receiving, shelving, and conducting periodic physical counts to resolve discrepancies An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. Qualifications: Education High School diploma or GED Experience and/or Training 1+ year of warehouse, bookstore, shipping, printing, or library experience, is a plus; forklift/pallet stacker experience, is a plus Licenses/Certificates Forklift license, desired Technology/Equipment Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and Shipping/Receiving software, is a plus Physical & Mental Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently on their feet for extended periods of time. This can involve standing in one place for long periods, such as when packing items, or walking long distances, such as when picking items from various locations in the warehouse. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk and/or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision.
