About this role: Warehouse and Inventory Management Associate reports directly to the Director of Operations and supports the West Coast fresh meals operation and the procurement team. This role is responsible for all things related to receiving and logging raw materials and packaging, warehouse storage and organization, inventory counting and tracking, invoice entry, and ingredient requisition for production. This role is expected to collaborate with procurement and production to solve any potential supply concerns before they become an issue for production. They are responsible for leading the team in inventory counts, entering invoices weekly, and ensuring the quality of received products. This role is in person and located in Gardena, CA. Job Responsibilities: Safely operate forklift, pallet stacker, and pallet jacks (manual or electric) to receive and move inventory throughout the warehouse. Ensure that all goods that are delivered are properly received, recorded on manifest, checked against invoice, placed into inventory, and rotated. Perform inventory counts and verify quantities with the procurement team Develop exceptional familiarity with all goods used in production Requisition ingredients for production according to the inventory and production schedules Update the invoice tracker with 100% accuracy on a daily basis Assist our Plate Up / Pack Out team when needed Qualifications: Must have forklift/pallet jack experience Must be at least 18 years old Must be eligible to work in the U.S. Computer and basic math skills preferred English and Spanish language abilities preferred Must be able to work weekends, holiday and overtime as required At least 2 years of related warehouse industry experience preferred Great verbal and interpersonal communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and kitchen environment with strict deadlines Excellent "can-do" attitude, strong work ethic, and great team spirit Strong attention to detail in all aspects of work Must be able to bend and lift up to 49 pounds What you get: Competitive hourly wages Medical, Vision and Dental 401(k) Family meal Set schedule, morning shift Paid sick leave and vacation Excellent opportunity for advancement at a growing company Salary: Starting at $18.00 to $22.00/hour based on experienceSakara Life is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
