Vice President, Sales Job Description Join us in powering the future of healthcare cost containment Expion Health (formerly HRGi Holdings, Inc.) has an exciting opportunity for a Vice President, Sales, reporting to the SVP, Rx Sales and Client Services. Producing Sales Vice President with assigned territory that meets and exceeds sales goals by marketing and selling Expion Health Solutions products through internal distribution channels, broker and consultants, direct to health plans, third party administrator resellers, and large plan sponsors. The Sales Vice President will be focused on selling HelpScript medical and pharmacy cost containment programs as well as ancillary Expion Health Solution products. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for New Business and upsell activities primarily in the Eastern United States area, with an annual minimum annual sales goal of $1,500,000 of revenue. Develop a Territory based Strategic Sales Plan to meet and exceed the published sales goal Achieve annual new business and upsell sales objectives by successfully leveraging existing and new relationships with benefit consultants and insurance brokers to increase visibility in the assigned territory. Meet expectations on metrics for prospect visits and communications through in person visits and persuasive communication on HelpScript value proposition. Identify new administrative opportunities and collaborate within Expion Health to expand revenue opportunities. Complete regular Salesforce reporting for pipeline, forecasts, and territory analysis. Assist marketing with developing sales campaigns to support the overall sales effort. Promote and support a working team environment with all departments. Work closely with the Client Services team to make certain there are smooth and efficient implementations of new clients and ongoing superior levels of service. Maintain ethical business standards to support Expion Health's reputation as the preeminent cost containment company. The VP of Sales will collaborate closely with other executives to optimize performance and ensure a cohesive approach to market penetration, customer acquisition, and long-term business development. Deliver and Execute (70%) - The Vice President, Sales collaborates with client management, operations, accounting & finance, marketing, and information technology teams to align strategies, optimize performance, drive revenue growth, streamline processes, and ensure a seamless customer experience and deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs. Learns and Grow (20%) - Learns through successful and failed experiment when tackling new problems; Actively seeks ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels. Plan and Align (10%) - Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives; Collaborates with other team members in agile processes; Relates openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people. Recognize the needs of the prospective clients and provide detailed information to the key personnel about the technical specifications of the medical cost containment solutions offered by the company. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives. Present sales proposals, coordinate, lead product and technology demonstrations, and prepare sales contracts. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers. Negotiate with clients as business or product lines may require, including pricing, financial and performance guarantees. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers. Participate in events and conferences on behalf of the company. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities. Identify and pursue new business opportunities and key accounts, expanding the company's market share. Build strong relationships with major clients, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategy, and deal structuring to close high-value deals. Work closely with the marketing, product, finance, and operations teams to align sales efforts with broader company initiatives. Provide market feedback to product and marketing teams to inform new product development and marketing campaigns. Collaborate with senior leadership on business planning, market expansion, and operational improvements. Other duties as assigned Travel Required (30%) Required Expertise Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating large sales teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM systems and sales analytics tools. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable sales plans.
