Come help us heal and strengthen the health care system as you doyour life's best work.SM As the Client Executive, you will have most important responsibility for running the day-to-day operations and administration of a key Optum-client agreement across multiple business units. This role must be an executive capable of leading teams and executing on daily operations across a distinct new healthcare delivery model. This position is responsible for operationalizing and executing on the Optum-client agreement, providing strong leadership, clear priorities and direction to leadership teams. This person will be accountable for achieving goals for effective implementations, customer satisfaction, quality, profit, and successful collaborations with key stakeholders all in the best interest of a world-class client background. Key responsibilities: Oversee all elements of the contract agreement that affect operations, including strategic targets and outcomes Participate on client governance teams to manage and meet contract commitments, qualifications and expectationsCommunicate with and help stakeholders (e.g., client, sales, business partner,; vendors) interpret contractual qualifications in order to drive effective strategy implementation and problem mitigation Manage project performance against established service level agreements and success measures, such as employee engagement, by working with internal business partners (e.g., finance, human capital) Review consolidated operational performance reports in order to determine overall effectiveness, make necessary changes, and identify opportunities for new programs or program consolidation or expansionProvide all financial reporting to the client as required in the contract agreementInterface directly with clients to understand their needs and how our operations can evolveBuild collaborative relationships across all delivery and support teams to understand and meet their needsDirect cross-functional and/or cross-segment teams to utilize and implement performance improvement strategies and standard operating processesLeadership background working with cross-functional teams involving direct reports, matrix partners, and vended servicesDrive a culture of quality and high Net Promoter Scores Required experiences: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experiences 7 yrs of background leading a large, complex service delivery agreement; overseeing end to end operations five years of background managing / leading teams, including managing leaders Background designing, integrating and improving operational efficiencies Background developing relationships cross-functionally and leading toward common goals Excellent program and client relationship management expertise, demonstrated through excellent written and oral communicationProven leader with demonstrated expertise to confidently drive forward business strategy and performancePrimary residence must be located in Northern California, and you must bewilling and able to commute to the East Bay to work onsite in the office up to five days per week Preferred experiences:Graduate degree in related position (e.g. MBA, MHA, or equivalent)Consulting background Demonstrated application of change management methodologies In-depth knowledge of Optum service delivery model and operationsCareers with Optum.
