Responsible for overseeing all quality improvement and driving quality results for the area of responsibility. Coordinates Medical Affairs Office operations and resources across MHS, working in collaboration with Hospital CMOs and medical affairs personnel. This role is considered a "hands on" position that is highly integrated into the operations of the healthcare system. Assesses and reports quality indicator outcomes as appropriate to the facility and line of service.Serves as a senior physician leader for healthcare system initiatives related to safe and high-quality care delivery in all clinical areas within MHS. Takes a leadership role in educating staff and physicians on key safety and quality issues. Acts as a resource as needed related to compliance with regulatory/accreditation standards. Oversees the development and implementation of policies and procedures that guide business processes, support the delivery of services, and ensure a culture of quality, safety, and satisfaction.Monitors and evaluates operations to ensure compliance with established professional, compliance, and organizational standards/requirements.Competencies:Education and Certification Requirements:Medical Doctor: Doctor of Medicine (Required)Medical Doctor License (ME LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)Additional Job Information:Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
