Successful candidates should: Be dedicated to medical excellence Want to be a vital & positive team player Seek to innovate & foster growth Want to go above & beyond for everyone, every time Have attention to detail Excel at client communication while explaining value of services and recommendations Take initiative, problem solve, multi-task and openly communicate with team while maintaining professionalism Some of our CVT Job Responsibilities: Follow handbook guidelines while mentoring team on same guidelines Perform IV catheter placements, Venipuncture, and Cystocentesis Calculate doses; Administer and fill prescription medications accurately Obtain digital radiographs, including dental radiographs Analyze urinalysis, fecal flotations, blood smears and cytologies Efficient animal restraint (including fear free techniques) Surgical prep; anesthetic induction; anesthetic/surgical monitoring; surgical recovery Perform dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs Maintain detailed and accurate electronic medical records Our extensive benefits package includes: Competitive compensation 401k & employee benefit package Extensive employee pet discounts Flexible schedule with evening hours & rotating Saturdays Paid vacation, sick & holiday hours Educational & CE opportunities, fun team building events, games, competitions, meetings, and employee appreciation Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour March Animal Hospital is a practice that allows you to learn, sharpen your skills, express your love for animals, and to be yourself in an encouraging environment.
