As the Veterinary Medical Director, you will oversee and manage the medical operations of our clinics, ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients and clients. You will work closely with our team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to provide exceptional veterinary services and maintain a positive and collaborative work environment. Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and direction to our team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff - Oversee the medical treatment of all patients, including performing surgeries and other procedures - Mentor and train staff on best practices and new developments in veterinary medicine- Manage the clinic's inventory of medical supplies and equipment- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement business strategies for the clinics- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements related to veterinary medicine - Handle any client concerns or complaints related to medical services Qualifications:- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school- Active veterinary license in the state of employment- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian- Previous experience in a leadership or management role preferred- Strong surgical skills and experience with a variety of medical procedures- Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsBenefits:- Competitive salary- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage- 401(k) retirement plan with company match- Continuing education opportunities- Paid time off and paid holidays If you are a highly motivated and experienced veterinarian looking for a leadership role in a dynamic and growing company, we encourage you to apply.
